June Favorites

It’s been a long, sleepless trip back to the good old USA, so I’ve had plenty of time to work on this months favorites. Here’s some of my latest obsessions for school holiday relaxing!

To Read:

The Happy Reader

Strolling along a street in Fremantle, I stumbled upon an independent book seller. I was instantly draw to the rack of unique magazines, far from your stereotypical Vogue and People. After falling in love with The Messy Heads Mag (which I talked about in my last favorites HERE), I’d been searching high and low for interesting publications. Thank goodness I found this one.

You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero

This book I found through the messy heads book club. I loved it so much I even lent it to a friend. It was so informative and provides such a fresh perspective.

To Watch:

Orange Is The New Black season 4

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s been binging on this show this month. It’s so amazing!

Wild Daze (YouTube)

I found this channel through Cartia Mallan (aka my ultimate girl crush) and fell in love. Mika is so positive and inspiring and her videos make me so happy!

Sex and The City season 1

I can’t believe it took me until now to find this show. I was hooked after the first episode.

To Listen:

Vegan Warrior Princesses Attack (podcast)

I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who is wanting to go vegan or who is already vegan! It’s such an amazing way to learn more about veganism and provides such interesting discussion. I love listening to it when I’m getting ready or driving around in the car.

Nobody knows anything (podcast)

This podcast follows the US election and current topics. I think it’s so interesting and I love being well researched when I talk to people so this is a great way for me to learn things!

To Wear:

Ray Ban Sunglasses

Every pair of sunglasses I’ve ever owned up to this point have been cheap, oversized plastic frames from places like Forever 21. However, this month I was so fortunate to get my first pair of ray ban sunglasses! They have  a beautiful gold thin metal frame and are so round and John Lennon inspired. I’ve been wearing these everywhere and they make quite a few appearances on my Instagram.

Vintage white corduroy pants

Vintage everything has been my go to motto towards fashion lately. I spent so much time in Perth perusing vintage and thrift stores. I found such amazing pieces that I’m so excited to be taking pictures with soon!

Naked Palette

An oldie but a goodie. Over my vacation I brought very little makeup with me. I used this palette every day I did my makeup and fell in love with it all over again!

What have you been loving recently? Let me know!
