New Years Eve makeup

Hi all, and a very Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with friends and family! I went to a music festival for NYE, so I thought I would post my makeup look of the night

First, I like starting with the eyes, because I don’t have to worry about fallout ruining my base when applying eyeshadows, especially ones with glitters. I start by priming my eyes with MAC’s Painterly. Using a piece of tape as a guideline, I used the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette and packed on the shimmery brown shades in the crease and outer V of my eye. I then used the darkest eyeshadow shade to create a winged eyeliner effect, before removing the tape, adding Benefit’s Roller Lash mascara and topping it off with eye lure’s 117 lashes. To finish the eyes completely, I used a pencil brush and the brown shadows from Chocolate Bar on the lower lash line.

For eyebrows I used Anastasia’s Dip Brow Pomade in Chocolate to shape and fill in my eyebrows. I have been getting more into my eyebrows lately so using this product has been a dream.

For my face, I used a foundation I have had in my collection for a while, but forgot about. It’s the Maybelline Dream foundation in buff beige. I am not even sure if this product is still sold, but I loved it. I went in with my NARS creamy concealer in Vanilla, and set it with the Tarte finishing powder. I used Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer to contour and bronze up the skin, followed by Benefit’s Dandelion Blush and Becca’s Champagne Pop (produced by my all time fave youtuber Jaclyn Hill!)

I hope you liked seeing what makeup look I created for New Years, and I hope you all have had a great start to the year!

Happy 2016
